Remembrance & dua

Dhikr is remembrance of Allah, and dua is calling upon Him. The Quran connects remembrance with gratitude and describes reassurance in the hearts of believers.

Remember and give thanks

Quran 2:152 brings remembrance and thankfulness together. Gratitude gives a direction to remembrance: recognising Allah’s gifts and responding with thanks.

Reassurance of the heart

Quran 13:28 describes believers whose hearts find reassurance in remembering Allah. Read this verse with the surrounding passage to understand its place in the surah.

Calling upon Allah

In Quran 2:186, Allah speaks of His nearness and answering the one who calls upon Him. When learning a particular remembrance or dua, keep its wording, context and reported count connected to its source. A decorative counter does not establish a religiously prescribed practice.

TO CARRY WITH YOU
