WHILE YOU READ

A little context.
A clearer reading.

Keep the original Arabic nearby, and use translations as a way to explore the meanings.

  1. Choose a passage

Browse the surah list or go directly to a verse, juz or Madani Mushaf page.

  2. Make the view comfortable

Use “Verse by verse” for Arabic with translation, or “Translation” to focus on the meanings. Adjust the translation text size in settings.

  3. Read the translator’s notes

Open “Translator notes” wherever the edition includes them. Each verse credits the selected translation and links to its source.

Know what you are reading

A translation conveys an understanding of the meanings; it does not replace the Arabic Quran.

Where do these translations come from?

Twelve editions are requested directly from QuranEnc. The Italian translation by Hamza Roberto Piccardo is provided by Quran.Foundation. Their wording is not generated, paraphrased or manually translated by Al Furqan. The reader includes the edition name and, when available, its version.

Are Dari and Persian separate options?

Yes. Dari uses the Muhammad Anwar Badakhshani edition; Persian uses the IslamHouse edition. Selecting one changes the translation source, not just the language label.

Can I change languages without leaving the surah?

Yes. Use the Translation menu inside the reader. Your choice is remembered in this browser. Links from this page open the language you selected here.

What has been reviewed?

The display and language choices have been tested. Full independent comparison and review by a qualified Quran proofreader remain pending. Arabic text and fonts are provided by Quran.Foundation.
